Spoke with CM re: Jan/Feb 2013 Promotion!!

So I called yesterday to see if I had a pin code - I did not but the CM told me there was a promotion for my dates (2/3-2/9) - 35% off deluxe villas. I was surprised and said I had been watching the website for special offers and asked if it just came out...she said she wasn't sure but it was "on her desk". I am already booked for my dates but I did it through an independent travel agent (magical vacations which i highly recommend by the way). The CM tried to apply the promotion to my reservation - but could not b/c it wasn't booked with WDW directly. So she told me to go back to my agent - which I did, who, as of last night, did not know about the promotion.

Fast forward to today, I called back, figuring that I would just book directly through WDW to get the discount...the CM i spoke to today told me that she could not book the promotion yet - but "off the record" confirmed that the promotion was out there....she said agents are being sent the info and to watch for the announcement in the next 2 weeks. She said to look for updates to the special offer pages on Thursdays and Fridays....sooooo it's coming! hang tight!

Did you ask "what" the promotion was? Is it FD or RO discount? Considering a switch from April.....

Those are my dates! cool! Were you inquiring about the Villa's or was the discount only on the villa's? I am hoping FD is included as an option.

I did not ask about FD. I think regular rooms are included in the room discount as well. She specifically told me 35% off at the deluxe villas b/c we are already booked for WL villas but she also checked availability at CR (regular room - although i would LOOOOOOVE to get into BLT), so I assume regular rooms are included as well.
