I know this question was sort of asked recently, but I can't find it - sorry!

There seems to be some debate whether Intimates/Escape still get the w***hes as a gift - and I REALLY want them! I just saw them on ebay for a decent price, and wondered if I should bid on them as our VR isn't until Dec and things change in Disney quite often. I noticed on the (pre?) contract I just sent with my deposit that they weren't listed, but I don't know if that's just 'cos they aren't a 'key element' of the wedding, or if they are not offered to new contracts now. The ones on ebay have never been used and are local to me so I wouldn't even have to pay the post, so I'm not sure whether to wait and possibly not get them from Disney or bid now (is it 'weird' to want someone else's w***hes, by the way?) Thanks!

they are nice watches dee I just did a search for them on ebay, i would buy them and then if you get given them in dec just put the pair you got from ebay back on there, you never know they may have changed the design slightly and then you have two sets

Hey dee,

Just wanted to let you know that DH and I received the intimate gift (Jan 2007) and it was not included in the contract. I really think that it's the standard gift for the intimates and it was the custom weddings where some got them and others didn't (though all customs get the APs).

Dh just loves his watch. We haven't gotten them sized yet, but he thinks it's pretty special.

We had an Intimate in May 2006 and we got the watches. They are beautiful and I actually have mine on right now! If you look really close, you can even find hidden Mickey's on the face of the watch (though it is easier to look at DH's, since his is bigger!)

We had our Intimate Vow Renewal in January 2007 and we received the watches. They were not mentioned in the contract.
