splitting up parks

I'm only going 2 be at Disney world for 3 days....and major problem...theres 4 parks....we have been 2 disney many times in the past so we can do it...i was just wondering what 2 parks would you do in 1 day? ak/mgm or ak/epcot... we always do a full day at mk.. i have 3 kids 19,17,13 i was wondering if you guys could help me decide thanx

Hi Springbreak!

I would split AK/MGM...I think it's easier to cover the highlights of both in a half day than MK or Epcot. Epcot is geographically so big, that alone would make it difficult to do in a half day. That's my recommendation!!

I totally agree...you want a full day at MK and Epcot. MGM and AK can be split easier.

Count me in among those saying if you have to split a day, AK/MGM are the parks.

I think the best split would be MGM/AK. While AK does include a good deal of walking, I found we could easily hit the major attractions at a pretty leisurely place and eat lunch by noon. I would suggest going to AK first and finishing the day at MGM for two reasons: 1) the animals sleep as teh day warms up so its better to be at AK early on. 2) AK closes earlier so it makes more sense to end your day in MGM, plus you can see FANTASMIC this way.

I also agree! We did AK/MGM in one day and got in all of the major attractions we wanted to see. Have Fun!
