We are planning on celebrating our 10th anniversary Dec 2008 with at trip to Disney World. We are hoping to stay in a deluxue room at WL since we stayed there last summer and loved it! It will be me my husband and 4 children ages 7,6,4, and 2. We are considering getting a 1 bedroom suite at the AKL for just 2 nights. We normally would not pay that much but since it is a special occasion and we don't fit in 1 regular room. Has anyone done this and how did it work? How soon should I make reservations? Plus do they give AAA discounts for suites?

We have gone several times but this will be the first time at Christmas so we are very excited. We are open to other suggestions if you have any.

Thanks,
Karen

Disney makes it so easy to split stay...We used to do it all the time before we bought DVC. Just have bell services pick up your bags on the move day and they will transport them to the new resort. When you check in, call bell services at the new resort and they will bring the bags up to your room .It really is that easy.

You will love the AKL. A great place for a special occasion. You don't even need to leave the resort there is so much to do and my favorite WDW restaurant is there...Don't miss dinner at Jiko!
