Splitting Saratoga and Vero Week - Advice?

Greetings!
Just booked Saratoga for a week next Spring and am thinking about, if available, booking part of the week at Vero when able. Any thoughts out there on doing one over the other first? Besides some points considerations, any call-outs with regard to logistics (to/from airport), etc. We will have a 7 year-old and 9 year-old with us. Would Vero be a good place to start out or to wind down?

My friend is doing that itinerary this May for the second time, so it must work out well. They stay at Vero first, then do Disney.

We done the SSR, then VB. It was great to unwind at VB before flying back to the West Coast.
