ANY and ALL advice would be GREATLY appreciated!

Hi Kapp,

Last december we spent 2 days at US/IOA then went to WDW for 5 days - I think its best to end a vacation w/the familiar. We enjoyed US/IOA very much - and are planning to spend a few days there again this summer - but this time we are going to stay onsite at US/IOA so we can use the Front of the line benefit for onsite guest at US/IOA. - For more info on US/IOA check out the board on these Disboards for US/IOA.

ENJOY YOUR TRIP!!

I agree w/ yasuern--go to US first. We did this last year--spent 5 days at US/IOA then on to DW for 8 days. We didn't stay on site either for US/IOA--we stayed at Hotel royal plaza. Hey, I still had to be close to DW!!!

If you are staying onsite at Universal, you should end your stay there, as it is so wonderful and relaxing (we did this with a Swan/Hard Rock trip in 2004).

If you are offsite the whole time, it doesn't matter, IMHO.

We just returned from a week offsite in a pool home followed by three nights at Wilderness Lodge. Since we were staying onsite at WDW at the end, we did our Universal days (4 of them!) while at the pool home, interspersed with two MK days, then ended with WDW days.

Staying onsite at UO will spoil you with the FOTL feature! So I usually end my trip with UO.

FOTL = Front of the Line and it's only for onsite guests.

But this year we are doing UO first because we're going the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving and I need the FOTL feature to get through the parks with how crowded it will be so I'd rather be at UO those 2 days then at WDW.
