Splitting a Deluxe credit at a signature?

DD and I are not big eaters but will have the Dxddp next trip. We have split one deluxe credit at a few restaurants in the past ( Sci-Fi, CG, 50's) but not in the past 3 years. Is this still allowed? One app, entrée and dessert is just right for us at some places. Thinking of CG, Narcoossee's, Yachtsman's and Tiffin's possibly.

We did this at California Grill in September. I had 2 extra credits so invited my brother and SIL to join me up there. They had the pepperoni flatbread appetizer, salmon entree, and I can't remember what for dessert. Come to think of it, I don't even think we were billed for the extra drink we ordered - we had 2 alcoholic beverages and one non-alcoholic (using 4 Dlx credits for 2 full meals). And our server even brought out small glasses of champagne to celebrate my SIL's 60th BDay.

I have split a deluxe credit with my DD a few times at Yachtsman no problem. I also wasn’t charged for her additional non-alcoholic drink but obviously it’s not guaranteed. The portions are plenty large enough there to share for us.
