Split trip....Should I avoid Universal?

I am planning a 12 day stay in June 2014. We were planning to do 4 days at Disney and get the Flexpasses for Universal/SeaWorld for the rest of the trip. We are not big HP fans and I know the expansion is set to open next summer. With the expectation of crowds being insane, should I just skip Universal for now and just get SeaWorld passes for the rest of the trip? Or do you think it will be okay for us to have a good time at Universal too?

I would get the SW passes. Next summer is going to be absolutely insane at both parks at Universal. Give it another year or so before venturing over.

I remember seeing the pictures of when the first phase of HP opened. The line into IOA started near the entrance of Citywalk. Absolutely insane. It will be interesting to see if this situation repeats for the HP expansion opening.
