Split tickets for dining, shouldn't be an issue, right?

When we go to WDW after Thankgiving we will be a total part of 10, 3 from our family and 7 from our friend's family. For the few ADRs we plan to make together I don't imagine there will be any issues for us to split the ticket 3/7 right? The ADR is just to reserve seats, not control how we pay so I don't imagine it will be a problem but figured it couldn't hurt to ask how others have dealt with the same situation in the past.

We have never had any issue splitting the ticket; I do tend to mention it before we order, if I can remember to...

I think the only issue is if one of your party has TIW (tables in wonderland). Usually the TIW cardholder has to pay using a card with their name on it. But if no TIW then I don't see why you can't split payments.

We generally just make sure and tell them when we first start ordering drinks that we are two separate parties. Never been an issue.
