Split tables - end up together or not?

How likely is it for ressies with split tables to end up being put together? We have ressies for 8 people that are split at 2 tables of 4. Have a number of ressies that ended up being like this, and the other family with us is a little concerned about us not sitting together possibly.
One is for 1900 PF for dinner... the others are for late breakfasts at Ohana's, CM, Norway... and a dinner at CRT.
If not together, will they likely sit us near each other?
thanks!

I went with my neighbours and my niece. I tried to get us separate tables at most places.

Even the ones where we were separate seemed to put us together as we arrived together. We were a party of 6 total, so I don't know if it will be the same for you. Even when my neighbours decided not to come to The Wave and I cancelled their table when I arrived (I only found out just before leaving the MK), they were seated next to us when they decided to come a few minutes after us.

Over the past couple of years we have had a couple of anywhere from six to nine people. We almost always get told that we will have seperate tables, but generally end up together. I think only when we had a party of nine during the week did we get seperated once at Rainforest Cafe.

we went with a group of 9, and although when I made the ADRs I was told we might have to be split up, we were all together at one table everywhere, except for Sci Fi diner (since each car only holds 6).

With large parties (10+) we've had split tables at the Crystal Palace; but the tables were adjacent. As I recall, we sat at one table at the Boma, Cape May Buffet, and Tusker House.

I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Our experience with our group of seven was we were told a few times we would have seperate tables. When we showed up for our ADR, we always sat together. I think it had something to do with the automatic 18% tip with a party of six or more, lol.
