Split stays

I have reservations for Contemporary Tower Magic Kingdom view for 6 nights Dec. 4-9, 2011. I have no discounts nor free dining. I keep looking but no luck so far. It seems my week is not included in any specials. I need some advice on split stays. I would like to stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge for a couple of nights. I won't have a car. This idea may take a lot of time & trouble. What do you think? Thanks

I wouldn't want to take time out to change resorts, but I wouldn't think it would be very hard. I would guess that you would have to get a cab, but that would be easy enough. I hope you get some sort of discount before you go!! Have a great time!
