Split Staying and Booking Dining Reservations...Not that fun.

The logic in that still doesn't make sense, though...it's not like I have to make reservations at the hotels where I'm staying, thereby those restaurants get my money. I'm making reservations anywhere on Disney property, regardless of where I'm sleeping. Why shouldn't I expect the same "express access" that I get for FP+ with a continuing reservation? I'm basically doing the exact thing...making reservations for rides operated at different parks.
It doesn't matter where restaurant money is spent. Disney considers each consecutive resort reservation as its own unique entity. The perk is 180+10 related to each individual resort reservation.

FP+ reservations aren't effectively the same as FP+ reservations.

I agree with you.

My split stay this trip almost messed with my BOG lunch ADR. Luckily an awesome Disser on the November thread booked an ADR for me the day before my window opened since BOG was already slim pickings that entire week. Once my window opened I tried to book but there was nothing. She coordinated a cancellation for me to pick up the ADR she made.

Wow! Surprised at a lot of these responses. Great to know I am not the only one who did not know this. Yes I see the arguments as well. Great discussion everyone! Love it!

I agree with you! You should be able to book at the same time. I was just coming in here to see if I could book all days when doing a split stay. Kinda annoyed now lol. Oh well.

Thank you for the information! We'll be doing our first split stay over spring break 2019. Now I'll know how to handle it.
