Split stay?

So I am currently booked 3/31 to 4/8 at POR but really like POFQ. how would I chang that to a split stay doing 4 nights at one and 4 at the other. Would I have to call to make that change and is it worth the packing everything back up and moving to another resort

I believe you need to cancel your existing reservation & book 2 new ones that you describe. Personally I would not do that. I would choose one or the other and stay put.

We did a split stay. It was very smooth, but we did not get to appreciate the beauty of the resort.

We have stayed at both they are very similiar I would choose POR and different moderate for a variety good luck we are doing a split stay next week!

We've done a split stay and the ticket aspect was a nightmare (this was pre-magic bands - we missed half a day in the parks because of misinformation in the system). As far as the hotel stay, it couldn't have been smoother. You pack up and leave your bags with bell services and they move it to your new room when it's ready. I'm actually doing a triple split-stay in January/February. It was completely unintentional, but I have no worries about the ease of getting from one hotel to another. I wouldn't worry about it.
