Hello, my first post!
Looking to do a split stay next August at Fort Wilderness for four days, and then 4 days at a hotel (first choice would be French Quarter). Any idea where we can keep our RV? Its 38 feet long. Anyone have experience with this?

:welcome: to the DIS!

I have no personal experience with this, but I see RVs parked at the resorts all the time, usually parked off to the side/out of the way/further out in the parking lot. I’ll let others with experience be the voice of knowledge, but I ‘assume’ it is no problem.

Enjoy your trip, and I hope FQ is open when you go!

We are planning a split stay with Caribbean Beach, and they told us our 25 ft motor home would have no issues. When we were relocated due to a hurricane, we parked it at Coronado Springs while we stayed there.

Just don't plan on a Universal hotel....they told me it would be an extra $75 to park at Cabana Bay! (So we are staying at Ft. Wilderness and going to Universal).

I agree with PPs that it shouldn't be an issue to park it at your resort. I've also seen them in the lots. Some parking lots may be smaller than others, but I always found there to be ample parking at the moderate resorts if that's what you're considering. I don't know if I've ever seen them completely full. I know rental cars are booming right now out of Covid precautions, but there are still people (like me) who avoid renting a car due to the parking costs at WDW.

Some resorts don't have the extra space for RV/camper parking, so they will direct you to another resort to park. I know at OKW they direct you to either Riverside or French Quarter to park.
