Split Stay - Will both MBs work as keys?

We have a split stay coming up where we are in a small room one night and moving to a larger room for the rest of the week. This means we got two sets of MBs. I understand that they are clones for purposes of FP and purchases, but will each work as a room key for each room? Or do we have to remember which color goes with the first room and which color goes with the second room?

They will both work for both rooms.

Unless there is a glitch (and you can't plan for those, so don't worry about it, but if one happens go and take care of it at the front desk), they will work for everything for both parts of your stay.
