Any feedback regarding splitting a short trip between WDW and Vero? We have 4 nights at CCV in November for a couple's trip. We haven't been to Vero and have been wanting to try it, so my husband just suggested splitting our trip. With only 2 nights in each place, though, I'm wondering if the whole thing would feel too rushed. We're aiming for a relaxing trip (mostly a resort stay either way with minimal time in parks). Was also considering all 4 nights at Vero but I'm a bit worried about the limited dining options.

Any thoughts or experiences welcome!

I 💓💓💓 WL. I enjoy Vero & have stayed there 4 times within 11 years. I wouldn't have a problem if it was 2 nights at one WDW resort and 2 nights at another WDW resort if I'd be staying in the same area. My thought is if you only have 4 nights then minimize your travel time. You will maximize your short time and get the most out of your vacay by staying in the same general area. This coming from a DVC'er who almost always books split stays, but we usually go for a week or two.

Keep in mind that VB resort is a roughly two-hour drive from WDW, so you won't be able to do much at either location on the day you make the switch. DH and I went the long way and visited Kennedy Space Center before driving down to VB. But having only two nights there means you really have only one day at VB. I think VB deserves at least a third night - it's so relaxing, especially after the hustle and bustle of WDW.

I agree as it will cut into your relaxing time and will make a shorter stay feel even shorter. I’d only consider if staying in FL 6 nights+

We have done many, many split stays at OKW and Vero. It is a wonderful way to wind down after the hustle and bustle of WDW. I don't think two nights at each place would make a fun and relaxing trip. I would only do it with at least six nights or more. There are many fabulous places to eat near the Vero resort. We never eat dinner onsite unless I am cooking. Have a magical trip no matter what you do!

I think 2 nights is enough at Vero to if you leave in the morning and enjoy the beach until your room is ready to get 2 beach/ pool days if you don’t mind driving 2ish hours. But 2 nights at WDW and 2 at vero overall would feel a little rushed… I could see doing 4 nights at WDW and 2 nights at vero though.
