I am going to Vero Beach for 4 days then to BWV for the remainder of my trip. My question is you can book fast pass 60 days in advance from arrival at Vero. I will not be using the parks till I get to BWV.

Thank You

I think it may depend on the kind of park ticket you have. Fastpass+ at 60 days out applies to any WDW or Disney resort and thus it can also apply to time staying at Vero. But the two reservations will be separate, and you can make FP+ reservations for both Vero and BWV time at 60 days out only if the ticket is connected to the VB stay and it covers enough time to get through the BWV stay. For example, if staying at VB 4 days and then BWV 3 days and you buy a three day ticket, then key is start date of reservation to which it is attached. If attached to Vero reservation then your start date is the date of arrival at Vero and that three day ticket must be used within five days after the Vero arrival date, and thus it will only be good for possibly one of the BWV days. If instead you have a longer ticket, such as an AP, you will be able to reserve that FP+ time for the BWV time at 60 days out from arrival at Vero. Thus key becomes how long your particular ticket lasts after date of designated arrival, see https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/faq/tickets/ticket-dates/ and if it does not last long enough, you will be better off attaching it to the BWV reservation and waiting until 60 days out from it to reserve FP+.

I always thought it would have to be a Walt Disney World Resort hotel or one of the partner ones. Interesting that Vero Beach counts. Surely they must have list of all eligible hotels but I couldn’t find it on their website.

I thought the same, but I have trip to Vero coming up in May and was able to link it to my MDE account and actually order Magic Bands. We are considering a one day trip to MK (we have annual passes) so I went on line to the chat feature in the fastpass + section and asked whether I could make fastpass+ selections 60 days out for that one day trip if both staying at Vero and already having an applicable park ticket, and was told yes.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Y'all are blowing my mind. We are going to Vero in May, followed by a split stay at BLT and BCV. We are arriving at Vero on a Monday, and then checking into BLT on Thursday. We will check out of BCV the following Friday (3 nights at Vero, 4 nights at BLT, 4 nights at BCV.) I have a (as of yet unactivated) AP and the rest of my family has 9 day tix that I purchased before the fixed date tix went into effect in October. According to the fine print we have 14 days to use those 9 day tix.

So if I'm understanding y'all, I can add my Vero rez into MDE, and I will be able to book FP+ at 63 days prior to my BLT check-in? (And we will be home before the 14 days are up from our initial Vero check-in).

For the AP it should work. The problem you might have is with the regular park tickets if they were purchased under the new system where any given day can have a different price attached. The tickets need to be attached to the Vero reservation start date to be able to make fastpass + 60 days from that date and if you purchased them under the new system with a start date to match your arrival date at BLT, you may not be able to move them back to the Vero start date.

We bought them before the new system went into effect. I added the Vero Beach rez to MDE and watched the FP date roll back 3 days! Thanks y'all!

FYI, today is 60 days out from our Vero Beach check-in, and it's not allowing us to book any FP. Guess the policy has changed.

So this is proof that split stays are not considered one stay any more. We are doing the same; first Vero, then WDW in August. We have always done the reverse. Were you ever able to book the split in the past? Guess that I am wondering if since Vero is a non park stay, did anyone get to book at 60 days from Vero for the WDW part of the split?:confused3:confused3 Thanks!

Well this shows that Vero Beach isn’t getting the 60 day window. Since it’s the first part of the stay not being accessed it isn’t providing much details on how a split stay is treated. There are still many conflicting reports in the other thread specific to split stays. Some say it works on MDE for them and other say that MS is reporting it as a glitch and offering to book the days for them.

OP the rooms was linked to MDE?

Yes, the rooms were linked to MDE. Originally I only had my on property stay in there, and MDE listed my FastPass booking day as March 31. When I added Vero, that date rolled back to March 28, so I thought I was good to go. But then the dates didn’t become available. I called 2 CMs and they both apologized but said the March 28 date was a mistake.

Also, I’ll check back in tomorrow to let you know about split stays since I have BLT and BCV booked. Tommorow is 60 days from BLT.

I was able to book across the BLT and BCV split stay 60 days out from my BLT check-in. Seems like Vero now is the one on the outs.
