Ok, start of planning and need some feedback.
We are family of 4, 2 kids (not really kids, both are in college) and 2 parents.

When doing a split stay, should we start with Disney and end with Universal or vice versa? Pros and cons for each. We will stay on both properties.

Please note that we have been to Disneyworld several times but never been to Universal.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Are you driving or renting a car? I would think that'd be a must for a split stay. We (my husband and I) really wanted to visit Universal during our trip but it was so much extra money to do a day there and our kids are too young for most that they have to offer. I know a two day park hopper ticket is about the same as the one day hopper ticket. So you'll want at least two days there.

I would probably do WDW first and then move over to Universal for 2 reasons. 1) The onsite hotels at Universal are a bit more "deluxe" than most at WDW, at least as far as the rooms/space are concerned.

2) The express pass included in the Universal hotels will spoil you and you won't want to wait in any lines at WDW
