Split stay...two sets of magic bands...and utter confusion

We added on a extra day at the beginning of our upcoming trip and had to stay at a different DVC resort in order to do so. We will be activating Annual Passes once we arrive.

We have received two sets of magic bands, but right now cannot seem to make any Fastpass+ choices because we do not have tickets attached to the bands yet.

Will the tickets go on both sets of bands? Are we supposed to throw one set out? how does this work?

Tickets aren't attached to specific bands. Tickets are attached to your account. Bands are the "keys" to your account. You'll just have 2 sets of those "keys" and can use them interchangeably.

You said you'll be activating APs when you arrive. Does that mean that you currently have vouchers? If so, I believe that you can link your vouchers to your MDE account so that you can make FP+ reservations ahead of time.

I'm here now and that's exactly what I did.

Use your will call number to link your tickets to MDE so you can book your FP+

You will be able to use both sets. We had 4 different rooms this past Jan/Feb trip. I have every color except gray so I could match my outfit or be opposite what I was wearing. One thing I learned was you have to use it to open your room before it will work at the resort gate. So when you get to your room use both to open your room to make sure both can open the gates.

Thank you to all who posted. I had no idea that I could use my will call number. I was able to add that to the MDE site and can book our FP+ now. We are so excited! We thought we would have to wait until we arrived due to not having the ticket in hand.
