I am thinking about staying at the BC in August for 5 nites. I have a pin code that is good for room only and also allows meals/1 day base ticket to be added. I can stay at BC for approx $2346 (2 adults/2 teens) with 1 day base, 5 nites at BC and 5 days of dining. I already have 2 park hoppers that do not expire. I'm contemplating booking 2 nites room only (to save approx $40/pp per day, which equals $160 times 2 days for a total savings of $320). We like to eat at Beaches and Cream and with the new design of the current dining plan, I feel it has lost some of its value. I would then pick up the dining for the last 3 nites of my stay and dine at Le Cellier, Rose and Crown (during illuminations) and Coral Reef. What do you think?

I think you have to purchase the dining plan for the entire length of your stay. I don't think you can pick and choose which days you want it. Unless you are willing to make two reservations and add the dining plan for one of the two reservations. But you may have to move into a different room for the second reservation.
