We are booked for a split stay the first half on free dining July 20-24 at animal kingdom lodge. Our tickets are tied to the first reservation obviously. 2nd half is 24th-28 at polynesian on rented dvc points. Today was my 180 day mark for the first half and I was only able to make ADRs for the first part. Is this correct? I thought I would be able to make them for the whole trip since both stays are at disney resorts? Will it be the same for fastpasses?

Will it be the same for fastpasses?

For this part of your question...from the FP+ FAQ on the Theme Park Attractions & Strategies Board, the first bullet applies to your situation:

Two Onsite Stays (Back-to-Back)
  • Package Stay followed by Room-Only (RO) Stay. The 60-day FP booking window will open at 60 days before the check-in date of the first (package) stay and will extend until the checkout date of the second (RO) stay.
  • RO Stay followed by Package Stay. The 60-day FP booking window will open at 60 days before the check-in date of the first (RO) stay and will extend until the checkout date of the second (package) stay. FPs can be booked for the package stay only; FPs cannot be booked for the room-only stay until tickets purchased prior to October 16, 2018 have been activated when onsite. Theme Park Tickets purchased after October 15, 2018 cannot be activated early.
  • Two RO Stays. The 60-day FP booking window will open at 60 days before the check-in date of the first RO stay and will extend until the checkout date of the second stay (and potentially beyond). This assumes valid tickets are linked to the MDX account.

Hope that helps.

ADRs work differently. The ADR window opens 180 out regardless of whether you have a reservation or not (open to everyone). That window will remain open for the duration of any resort reservation you may have for that day, but having a second reservation (which is what you have with a "split stay") does not extend the ADR window. At 180 days from the second reservation, you'll be able to make ADRs for the rest of the time.

"Split Stay" is an Internet term not recognized by the Resort. You have 2 distinct resort reservations. You can make ADR's for the length of each reservation only.
