Split Stay (?) Question

Planning a trip for November 2 through some uncertain later date and staying at Beach Club. Now I'm thinking about flying in the evening of November 1 and arriving in Orlando about 8:30 p.m. instead of flying the morning of November 2. Would cost about $525 less to fly in on November 1, so we could book a room at Beach Club that evening and essentially break even and arrive a half day earlier. However, I plan on booking 2 rooms for the entire trip since we have a party of 5 (and potentially 6) adults). So here's my question - will I have any issues with tickets/dining plan if I book a single room at Beach Club for November 1 and then split folks into two rooms at Beach Club on November 2? We won't go to the parks until November 2 and would want the park tickets/dining plan to begin on that date. Perhaps I need to book the November 1 night separately from the November 2 through whenever stay?

I think you need to book a separate "room only" reservation for that one night to not tie into your existing dining/park tickets.

If you don't want the dining plan to start until Nov 2, you would have to make two bookings. Disney doesn't recognize split stays - that's just a term used on message boards.

Yes, book the November 1 night separately. Then book the long stay with two rooms. First stay is room only. Second is full boar of Room, tix, dining. Really no problem at all. The only problem I see is that a room at Beach club the first night can't have 5 or 6 adults. You don't mention when everyone will be arriving.

I agree with everyone else. Definitely do a second booking for the night of the 1st.
