Split stay question

Hi All,

We are booked for a 4-night Bahamas itinerary on 2-27-17 and would like to stay at WDW for 4/5 nights prior. Originally I was dead set on staying at the Contemporary for the whole stay but due to a more expensive cruise we need to reallocate some of our budget. Now I am thinking 2 nights Contemporary and 2/3 nights Coronado (where we stayed last time, loved it!). However I am wondering about FP and ADR windows, would we have two now? Or does the system group both consecutive reservations together and still let you book for the whole trip? I'm wondering if it would almost just make more sense to do Coronado again the whole trip and then just do Chef Mickey's to see the Contemporary and ride the monorail (really wanted the Theme Park View to watch fireworks one night though!).

Help! :(

You can book FP+ all at once, based on the first stay check-in.
Same for ADRs.

And, yes, why bother to move?
A full Coronado stay would make sense.

Actually the policy changed for split stays and ADRs. I am doing a split stay in Nov and could only make them for the days of the first resort stay including the day we switch and then had to wait until 180 days of the second resort to make them for the second half of our trip.

FP+ can be booked for the entire trip 60 days before check in, but dining reservations are now based on 180 days prior to check in date of each resort reservation. Previously you would have been able to book dining reservations for your entire vacation 180 days before your first arrival date, but earlier this year it changed.

Edited to add: Cynbeth beat me to it.
