Split stay question!

I'm sure this has been asked before so I apologize.

We rented DVC points and plan on adding dining when the 2014 prices come out. However, we just extended our trip and rented points from a different DVC owner at a second resort. I guess this is considered a split stay, which we've never done before.

We have a number of different confirmation numbers so is there a way to link them all together so our dining package can be for the entire time?

Basically, I'm asking because we usually do a restaurant that requires two table service meals, which we'd like to do the first night. It could work if our reservation can be linked. However, if it can't then I'm assuming two table service meals cant be deducted since "technically" the reservation is only for one night.

The reservations can be linked only if they are at the same DVC resort for the same room type. Linking is generally done so that you don't have to change rooms in the middle of your stay.

The reservations can be combined if they are at the same resort and for the same type of villa (eg both BWV 1-bedroom std. views) and cover consecutive nights under the same owner.

The only way that what you want to do would work would be if the reservations could be combined. Linking would not work because they are still two separate reservations under separate owners.

You could get the DxDP for that one night, which would give you 3 dining credits per person. That would more than cover the number of credits needed for your signature dinner and the remaining credits would still be good until midnight of the day you check out of your first reservation.

Alternatively, you could get the DDP for that one night and use the credits to pay for one meal while paying OOP for the other.

Got it. So if we did the deluxe, we would get three per person, correct? So two could be used for, say, Le Cellier, then we would have one meal to still use? Would that one be a quick service or could we use it as a table service?

DxDDP credits can be used at either because they are dining credits and don't differentiate between QS or TS. You would have to use the one additional credit by 11:59 PM on the check out day of your first resort stay.

If you have another 2 credit meal planned on the check out day, one person could use both credits from the DxDDP, while the other person uses 2 credits from your new DDP.
