Split stay question

We have done split stays before at DW between two Disney properties and bell services has always transferred our bags for us.

Does Disneyland do this? We are going to stay our first four nights at the DLH and then when my extended family joins us we are moving over to the GCH.

We were going to just move the whole trip over to the GCH but since it's our first time I wanted to try them both to see the differences for future trips. Plus, my DS (and DH) really want to try the monorail slide. We have to stay at the BC at DW more than I would like just for their water slide and pool complex.

I've read mixed reports on this (some people said yes, and other said no), so I'm not sure. You may need to call the hotel and check.

If I were planning to go back to DL again in the next couple years, I'd personally just stay at the same hotel the whole time, and then try the other hotel the next time. It's not like WDW where there are more than 3 "on-property" options. But on the other hand, it sounds like your stay is long enough to warrant a split if you really want it. :goodvibes

(The Grand Californian's standard rooms are smaller than the DLH's, but I assume your party won't be all in one room so it shouldn't matter.)

Have a great trip!
