Split Stay - Phone or Online booking?

In your experience, is it better to book a split stay on the phone or online? Do the reps on the phone understand split stays or should you just tell them you're booking two separate vacations and tell them exactly what you want?

We're looking for CSR - 5 nights, 10 day PH & WP, Reg Dining then POR 5 nights, 1 base ticket, Reg Dining. (Is this right as far as maximizing our tickets while still having dining?)

Also the rep on the phone said something about $150 per person right off the bat if we want to do a split stay? Is this a new norm? I haven't seen that mentioned on here.

Help?

Phone, the Web site is notoriously unreliable currently. I'd recommend any booking be made by phone.

Sounds to me like your CM on the phone had no idea what he was talking about and was pricing you out with 5 day tickets on each stay.. I'd call back and if you're still fed fiddle-faddle by the rep, ask for a manager.

From what I've gotten from these boards, you just get tickets for the whole stay on the first reservation and then get the smallest amount of tickets possible just to have the dining on the second reservation. I wouldn't do 5 tickets and 5 tickets..

No question you get it! I wonder about the guy on the phone. LOL ;)

Yeah, give them a call for all the reasons stated. We usually book 2 rooms and I always end up phoning to get something corrected anyway. Hope the website gets fixed, I'll be booking our next trip soon!:)
