Split Stay - on and off site - AP

Hi all,

I did a search but couldn't find the answer. We are planning another Disney vacation. We have APs and want to stay 14 days on site and 14 days off site. With the new FP+ system, what would be best, off site first or on site first?

If you stay on site first then you can make your fastpass selections 60 days ahead of check in. If you stay off site first then you can't make your selections until 30 days out.

Thanks for the answer. I assume that if I stay on site first I will only be able use FP+ for the lenght of the on site stay. When will I be able to reserve FP+ for the off site?

You can make the selections 30 days out from the day after you check out, since the 60 day window would include your check out date.

Anyone with an annual pass can make selections 30 days out - at any time. I have an AP and I can make fp selections right now for 30 days from now.

Selections: 04/21/2015
Period: 14 days

Off Site:
Check-in date: 07/19/2015
Check-out: 08/01/2015
Selections: 06/19/2015
Period: 7 days

Will I be able to do the Off-site 7 days selections before using the On-site FP+?

Off site - you would be able to make fp selections on 6/06 - or whatever is 30 days out from 7/6, not 6/19. It is a 30 day window for off site and is not dependent on your off site reservation dates.

You should be able to make fp selections as soon as the fp selection window opens. You don't have to use your on site fps first.

In my experience you will only be able to make 10 total days of FP+ reservations in advance even with a longer stay. CM confirmed this is the limit, but others have experienced differently.
