Is it easy enough to have Bell Services move your luggage from one resort to another?

We will be spending one night at Bay Lake Tower before heading over to Wilderness Lodge.

What is the process for them doing it? Do you bring everything down to them or do they come and grab it from your room? We have a car so we could move it ourselves but if its an easy enough process it might be worth it for them to do it.

TIA!

We think so. And zero lost park time.

Either way is fine. We usually bring it down on our way to the parks.

Just be aware your luggage won't arrive at Wilderness until 3 or 4. It's never an issue for us as we're in the parks until at least then.

In your experience has it ever been later than 4 to get delivered? We have a dinner reservation that night that we will want to change for but we won't need to leave WL under 6:15-ish

Not in our experience of 9 split stays.

I believe @dansdad has great experience/advice. But—— transfers are scheduled to occur at 3 PM. Depending on how much there is to transfer and where it is all going it could take awhile. If I had an ADR I wanted something from my bag, I would transfer it myself. That is just me

Yes, what Hopefully said. I once moved from one side of Pop to the other, and it took over twelve hours to move my luggage.

We were doing a lot of resort time and didn’t want to wait around for a luggage transfer, so we just took a Lyft with our bags for like $6 from Poly to GF this week.

It could be after 4:00. It won't be before 3:00. Personally, I never expect mine till 7:00, that way, anything earlier is a bonus. So in your case, I'd bring them myself. Or, let Bell Services move the bulk of the bags and take a small one, just so you aren't hauling it yourself and leaving it all in the car all day, if you aren't planning to go by the resort first. If you are, then move it all yourself.

Thanks everyone! Maybe we'll just keep a bag in our car with what we'll need for the night and have them move everything else.

Thanks again!

They forgot to move our bags during our last trip. When we called to have it brought up when we got to our room at 10pm they discovered it was still at the other resort. It did only take about 30-45 minutes for them to transfer it and bring it up. We weren't too bothered, but I wouldn't depend on it if I needed something from my bag in the afternoon.

If you have a car, take it yourself. You will have your bags when you need them. We just did this last Saturday for our move. You need to move the car anyway...

I agree. Much easier and quicker to just move your luggage and have it done.

I have done a few split stays and it was very very easy. I had my stuff packed up and in the morning when I left for the park I checked out of the first resort and took my bags to bell service and told them what resort I was moving to. They always so no problem. I go to the parks and then late afternoon,(after check in time) I take the bus to my new resort and check in(now I do online check in so I just get a text saying when my room is ready). So when you get to your new resort just stop by or call bell service and they bring your bags. Very easy.

Just wanted to clarify that ALL Disney resorts are able to do luggage transfer? We are moving from AOA to BCV
