sorry if this question has been asked before, but I couldn't find the answer. we are doing a last minute 20th anniversary trip to SSR. we are doing a split stay with friday and saturday at POFQ to maximize points (got a great price with code using Disney visa for a king room).

question is will bell service move and hold our luggage from SSR to POFQ for the weekend and then back to SSR on Sunday?

We have never done a split stay and need to know if we should plan on a taxi or what. Thanks

Yes, bell services at both resorts will move your luggage for you to your new resort. Just take it to them in the AM, and it will be taken care of. It may take until around 3:00 to get it to the new resort, so be sure to take with you the items you will need before 3:00.

How do you get a discount or see what a discount would be with using your Disney visa?

I do not know about POFQ, but at SSR Bell Services have come to our room to get our luggage.

They sent an email to everyone with Disney Visa. It was for certain dates in August. I am going to try to find mine and get back to you.

Ok it is $99 per night at CBR plus tax for stays 8/16-8/24, 9/1-9/9, 8/22-9/27. When I clicked the link it also brought up $64 standard room at Values and $169 for OKW or SSR. Book by August 10.

Thanks for the information. I really need to read those offers that come with my Disney Visa. I always through them. Thanks again!

follow up to original question.

Does bell service provide transfer service to Swan & Dolphin? Found a very good rate and love the location.

I would have to think that they wouldn't as S/D are not DIsney owned hotels.

can I just tack on a question to the original post? - we're doing a split stay for the first time too, in September - AKL and then OKW...
If bell services will move the case... any idea what the cost would be? Would be a case of tipping them, or would there be a charge + tip?
What amount should the tip be?

Sorry if this sounds basic, but I'm coming from UK where tipping people is less common and I don't want to do the wrong thing. When we've had bags lifted on and off buses for us in the past when using Magical Express, we've given a dollar per bag...

It it my understanding that you only have to tip bell services when they either pick up your luggage from your room, or when they deliver it to your room. There is no charge for bell services to move it from one Disney resort to another.
