Split stay logistic questions

We currently have BLt for the first 3 days of our trip and BCV for the last 3. We really wanted BCV for the whole time, but with food & wine and a holiday weekend, I am very doubtful our WL will come through. So, I just need to come to terms that we will be doing a split stay. It is hard to get my head wrapped around ADR's b/c I keep thinking what if my WL comes through and we are at BCV then we won't want to eat at Contemporary? I know I just need to suck it up and go with it. My question to you all is...when we make the move what happens to our fridge stuff? Will they refrigerate it for us until we can get in our room? Is there a benefit to popping into the new resort to check earlier versus later? We may be going to Legoland on our switch day and would not be back to evening. I don't have to worry about a check in time, do I? Thanks for helping me!

SSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHH, its a secret. All WDW resorts have bell rooms (where they store the luggage) with industrial size refridgerators and freezers. They will hold groceries for you for free.
