Split Stay- large vehicle to get to POLY

For my own reasons I do not want to use, bell services. However, we will have 5 large suitcase, 5 carry ons, 2 adults and 3 children.
I figure I will need at least a van??? I need to go from POR to the POLY, who do I call to arrange this?

note: we take a 8 passenger limo to and from the Airport and it just fits all of our luggage and yes I know thats a lot of luggage, but we are going for 16 days and I do not do laundry on vacation

There are usually cabs at POR (and all the resort) - if there isn't a van, they'll call one for you. Work through the hotel staff instead of calling yourself.

Thanks, but I would rather handle it myself, so I need to know what companies I could call that would have vans.

Have you considered having one of the adults take a cab and all the luggage and the others take disney transportation. Or just use 2 cabs. Or you may get lucky and find that there is a van sitting with the cabs at POR.

The company "you" could call would be the identical one that would be waiting outside your resort which would be the identical one that the resort's Cast Members would contact for you - Mears Transportation.

Please see their website for contact information, or call 411. I would be extremely hesitant to provide you with said contact information, given your apparent refusal to even inform anyone associated with Walt Disney World that you will be moving to a different resort and will need ANY type of assistance.

Alternatively, the limo company that transports you from and to the airport will be happy to also transport all of you and all your luggage between resorts for a fee. Contact them.

thanks for the info Mears it will be, I could do the CM thing but honestly, it is a surprise for my kids so would rather just handle it myself, it is not that hard to make a phone call. So really do not need CM's in the middle of it when I can call from the room.

We just found it easy to go out front, usually it's at bell services at front, tell them we need a cab and they call one over. Usually they are sitting there waiting in the parking lot.
And as for vans... actually, we usually end up getting a van, and sometimes it's just 4 of us and a special needs stroller. And other times when there was 6 of us, a van came. Never asked for a van, but they seem to be readily available so don't think it would be a problem getting one.
