I have looked everywhere to try to answer my question, but I am a new member and can't figure all of this out:)
I am getting ready to modify at 7 months for a 4 night December trip and want to book a 2 bedroom lock-off at OKW, but all of my nights are not available. If I book a 1 bedroom for night 1 (waitlist for the 2 bed), and book the 2 bedroom for nights 2 and 3 (which are currently available), and then book a 1 bedroom for night 4 (again waitlistng 2 bed). Will they let me keep the same one bedroom for all 4 nights? I am only adding the 2 bedroom's studio portion, right? I would really like to keep the same living area/bedroom, but just add the extra studio for other family to have their own real bed if possible:) Luckily there are 5 of us, so we 'fit' in a one bedroom, but not comfortably since adult kiddos want real beds..If we get 'stuck' with a one bedroom, it is no big deal, just don't want the hassle of moving the kitchen because we are actually planning to use it and OKW as a sanctuary from the crowds. TIA

You can certainly ask and request it, and they will do their best to accommodate you, but don't expect it to actually happen. They need to find people who would be happy in the studio next to you who would check out on day one, and then others who would check in on day 4.
The odds of that happening are not 100%, so they can not assure you that it will happen, but they can make a note of your request.

The good news is bell services will happily transport, store, and then move all of your food to your new room all for the cost of a tip if you do need to move.

A lockoff is not a dedicated. If you are in a dedicated for two nights and a lockoff the other nights, at a very busy time, you probably won't be able to stay in the same villa.

Thanks for the reply. However, I am still confused. If I am starting in a 1 bedroom and going to a 2 bedroom lock off, and I not just adding the studio part? Never booking dedicated 2 bedroom. Thanks again.

I'm thinking the comment was referring to the waitlist. Make sure you are also waitlisting a lock-off, as the dedicated are completely different units.

Yes. I am waitlisting the lock off, but have the one bedroom in place. Just trying to figure out the odds. I am trying to plan a stress free trip:)

We went from a one bedroom to a two bedroom lockoff severslnyears ago when there weren't as many members competing for the villas. It is possible to stay inn the one bedroom portion, but you need to work it out with the front desk when you arrive. We didn't get into the one bedroom until almost 6pm because the resort was crowded and the guests in the villa we were assigned decided to self extend. They were told to leave by management. Then they had to clean the villa and it was a total mess.

Thanks so much! This is exactly what I was wondering. So glad to hear it explained that way. Now it makes perfect sense. I will just book the 2 bedroom dedicated for the whole trip. It’s not worth the trouble for the lock off waitlist.
