We are planning a split stay next August with 4 nights at the Poly and 4 nights at the Beach Club. It seems logical to hit the parks near the resort we're staying at, but I don't know that I want to do all of our MK days in a row at the beginning of our trip. So question - if you do a split stay, do you plan your park days around the resort you're staying at?

No matter where I am staying, I always plan my park days with a crowd calendar like easywdw.com. Everybody is different, but I would choose to go to MK on less busy recommended days.

Right now we have 5 nights BLT/4 nights BCV. We have 8 day tickets. Our plan is

Day one- no park , resort hop to see Christmas decorations.

Day two -AK, MK is open until 11 that night, so we may spend a few hours in the evening there.

Day three- MK

Day four - MK

Day five - Start out at Epcot, with FP+ for mid afternoon at DHS. MK is open until 2 AM. So again may hit a few late hours there.

Day six- moving to BCV. Have late morning FP+ at MK. Then may take break at BCV and at least see some of the counties in the evening.

Day seven - DHS

Day eight - Epcot

Day nine - FP+ at DHS/ later in the day spent time at Epcot.

Day ten- go home.

We have a waitlist for one more night at BCV. If that comes thru, we will drop the MK FP+ and take our chances with getting last min FP at another park.

It's just the two of us, so it's much easier planning and adjusting.
