Headed to the parks with my family and my sisters family February 28 for 3 nights. I had REALLY wanted to stay at the DLH because it has that "vacation feel" to it and my nieces have never stayed there and I think they'd love it but the DLH is sold out on the 28th. I have rooms booked at PP, park view for all 3 nights or we could do the first night at PP and then switch to DLH for the last 2 nights. We have switched rooms one time from GCH to DLH and it was a total time sucker! It took me 2 hours from the time we left one hotel room and finally walked into our new one. Is there an easier way? Will they move our luggage from one hotel to the next? Or better yet all the way to our new room???

I only want to switch if there is an easy way to do it. We don't really spend a lot of time at the hotel and I doubt the weather will be warm enough for the pools so I'm not sure it's worth the hassle.

Also, if anyone has tips on how to better my chances of getting a connecting room I'd appreciate that too.

Thank you!

Well I love PPH so I say don't switch. ;) And if you don't spend much time at the hotel and don't plan to swim then I really don't see much point. But that wasn't your question. :)

It took me 2 hours from the time we left one hotel room and finally walked into our new one.

What took all that time? I'm not actually sure if PPH will move stuff to DLH but if they don't, start from there.

Ultimately you would take bags out the side/back of PPH, walk along edge of parking lot, over to DLH, and to front desk. Stash bags will Bell Services and move on.

Or better yet all the way to our new room???

Unless you have amazing luck with already having a room when you check in I doubt that. :)

Not sure if they would transfer your bags for you, I would just call and ask. But going from PPH to DH is closer versus GCH to DH. Simply because you just cross a driveway going the back way. Wait til you check in so you can go directly to your designated tower. GCH is a large hotel that takes awhile to get out of... plus it's across the street.

But I agree, if you aren't in your room that much nor care to use the pool, I don't see that the move is needed or worth the hassle.
