Split Stay/ Flying

Is it really difficult to do a split stay when your flying? What do you need to do? Luggage? Etc.

We have done a split stay before but we drove so we just checked out of one drove to the other and checked in but with flying I just dont know the logistics. Please help explain. Thank you.

Have Bell Services transfer your luggage and food.

Set up DME for both resorts, no big deal.

AS Bill said, Bell Services can move everything for you. We generally call on the morning of our transfer day and they come right up. We have them move luggage, Owner's Locker, and food (they can even keep things refrigerated). I think you can call and pre-arrange a pick-up time if you absolutely have to leave the resort by a certain time. They will tell you that your items may not be available until afternoon, so if you need swimsuits or anything else for the day, it is best to put that in a carry-on or backpack.

One time we took a cab from our frist resort to the second one so we could move sensitive items and check them at the new resort ourselves. It was about $20 from Kidani to BLT for that trip.

It's really each. Bell services can transfer your luggage between resorts for you. However we decided to take a cab so we had our luggage right away. It was about $20. Including the tip. We are doing the something in May.

Transfers happen between 1&3 PM. Your room may not be ready until after 4 PM even if you use a taxi.

We have done 2 spits stays ourself and one of our family members did one while staying with use. I Loved it. We have always had our car but never really used/needed it. If you have a day bag just leave it/ check it at the second resort till your room is ready. I actually prefer split stays You get to see two different resorts. Just got back August 4th from a 4 day trip to BLT. Had a itch to go early. Called MS Sunday got a room at AKV for 1 night on Tuesday. Move to BLT Wednesday went great. Checked in at 9:00 am. Got A text at 4:00 when our room was ready.
