Split stay/declining mugs?

We're doing a land/sea/land vacation in Jan and will have the DDP for both resort stays.

Am I right in assuming that I'd get mugs for both legs? What if I don't want another set (just thinking about getting them home in luggage; we'd have 20 to deal with!). Can I decline the 2nd set and reactivity the first set?

You can just get mugs reactivated. But the price is the same as a new mug (although that doesn't matter as much as your on DDP). Or just bin the first set of mugs and pick up a new set with your second reservation. That way you don't need to take any on the cruise.

We'll just decline the 2nd set. We DO want them on the cruise for the refillable drink stations there as well.

Mugs are activated for 14 days. Between your stays and the cruise, will you even need to activate the second set?

There's no way to "decline" them if it's anticipated that the cost of the mug may be deducted from the cost of the DDP. If you don't want the second set of mugs, then just don't pick them up.

If your first set of mugs are still "active" for your second WDW stay, you can consider picking up the second set of mugs and "pixie dusting" them to another family...
