Split stay BWV/VB - Advice needed

Thinking about staying with extended family at BWV (our home resort) and Vero Beach (not our home) next summer around 2 weekends. (Visiting grandparents in between) I am sure that I should use my own points to reserve a standard view 2BR at BWV at the 11 month window, but... Should I wait and use HH points to reserve a 2BR at VB at the 7 month window, or try to organize a trade or rental of points at 11 months?

for VB in summer I might try a trade....

but it just depends upon when you are going. you will probably be fine to wait for 7 months for VB.

of course if you want the beach cottage - definitely trade - those things are just about impossible to get.
