Split Stay between DLH and GCH

Has anyone done a split stay between the Disneyland Hotel and the Grand Californian before? Do they move your luggage for you? Was it a hassle? Or was it pretty easy?

I’m putting all my eggs in the 2021 trip basket so considering doing a longer trip and splitting our stay between both hotels. Starting at DLH and ending at GCH. I have my heart set on the Grand but the pool at DLH looks like heaven for my kid. We’re aiming for June 2021.

Yes, in the past they moved luggage between the three hotels. Of course anything can change in the current environment, but I wouldn't think Bell Services would change much.

I think a good plan is to drop the luggage at DLH and check into GCH on your way to the Parks. You should get a text when the room is ready, which can be early in the day since you were an early check-in. If you have room request in mind, do make it clear you would rather wait for the "right room" to be ready.
