Hi Everyone,

Any help some experienced holiday makers/CMs can offer would be greatly appreciated.

I booked my holiday with Virgin Holidays in the UK. When we booked we asked for the Hotel from 30th July until 29th August and a 21 day park ticket with the 21 days being the last 21 days of our holiday because we wanted to do Universal/Sea-world/Discovery Cove/Busch Gardens as well - and sod checking in and out of different hotels. We wanted to do the other parks first so we could save money by only renting a car for the first 2 weeks.

I logged into our account today as it is now 60 days before check in and our park tickets are showing from 30th July until 13th August - far short of the 21 days we bought and not when we asked for them to start from.

Its showing:
Check in July 30 - Check out August 13 "ANN UK PKG"
Check in August 13 -Check out August 29 "ANN Room ONLY"

21 Day Disney Ultimate Ticket with Memory Maker.

Doing Disney first is out of the question as we have already booked and paid for Discovery Cove (cannot change this day) and prepaid for Cinderella's Royal Table for my mums' birthday on the 19th and the way its showing on the website means that we risk not having valid tickets for this day.

Is this something that Disney would fix on the telephone number?

You don’t need to call.

It’s set up so your “1st” Stay has the 21 day tickets attached. The 21 day tickets activate on your check-in day and can be used through August 29th - you choose which days to use the tickets.

The FP booking tips for Long Stays beyond 14 days is explained in the FP FAQ Addendum Sticky at the top of this forum page.

The FAQ says "
  • Package Stay followed by Room-Only (RO) Stay. The 60-day FP booking window will open at 60 days before the check-in date of the first (package)stay and will extend until the checkout date of the second (RO) stay."
But I can only see 15 days? Has this been changed recently?

Yes. That’s why I gave you the FP FAQ ADDENDUM Sticky to refer to. Tomorrow, your window rolls forward. Completely different rules for excessively long stays.

Booking for Onsite Stays Longer Than 14 Days

When the 60-day FP Booking Window opens for an onsite stay of longer than 14 days, you'll be able to book up to a maximum of 14 consecutive days.

After this, your ability to book for additional park days continues with each passing day. The open 60-day Booking Window continually rolls forward each day allowing you to book for your total number of onsite park days.

Ah I understand now, I last went a few years ago about a week after the Frozen ride opened at Epcot and we was able to book our whole 21 days from the 60 day before check in (we literally scrapped a fastpass for it on the very last day of our holiday) because the queues were over 6 hours long.

That’s a really nice vacation you’ll be having. And, :welcome: to DISboards!

Thanks. I was going to join the boards last time I went. I'm 27 this year and so excited about going I've got a calendar counting down the days at work. Saved up all my annual leave to take it in one go - my parents work in schools so we can only go in the summer holidays so FP+ will be a lifesaver.
