Sorry, if this has been asked and answered before. I am in the throes of morning sickness and the last thing I want to be doing is planning our family's meals for December or searching for info in this forum. So, have mercy on me please! It's a shame cos planning our restaurants is usually my favorite thing about planning.

We're splitting a stay - 5 days at the Poly, 5 days at AKL consecutively. Has anyone had difficulty making ADRs for the the entire length of a split stay? My biggest concern is the pirate or albatross cruise for my DS, I'd hate to miss out on that because they won't let us make ressies during the original period. Heck, I guess I need to confirm that those special events are part of the 90+10 thing anyway?

Thanks for any input.

Sorry that I am not 100% sure but I haven't heard of booking the children's activities with the 90+10 but I don't have children so I could be wrong. Haveing a split stay shouldn't be a problem it just might be a little tricky to make sure that they have both reservation numbers etc.

I have asked this question to serveral Dining Cast members, and I actually have gotten the same answer every time.

My situation is a little different but I still have two different reservation numbers. I have a reservation for 4 days room only then a ten day package. They have told me that it will be no problem to make the first ten days of reservations, but I will need to give both my reservation numbers. I will need to call back then the next four days to get the reservations for the remainder of the fourteen night stay.

My travel agent (AAA) even called to confirm this and she was told it was not a problem.

We are in the same boat as you with the split stay. We are staying the first 2 days at POP and the last 5 at OKW. We recently made our ADR's and had no problem making all of our ressies. We did however have to call back at the 90 day mark for the Wonderland Tea Party so maybe the same rule applies for the pirate cruise. Good luck!!! :flower:

Right now, we're in 3 hotels for Thanksgiving week. One night CSR, 3 OKW GV, 2 at CBR if OKW waitlist doesn't come through. Called Sunday morning and got ADR for entire stay... only gave her one reservation number, toward the end of the call did say we were in three hotels when she asked where we were staying.

I was told to call back at 90 days from the day I wanted the pirate cruise. Could not make it early like the ADRs.

Thanks, everyone, for relieving my stress about the split stay issue. I will ask about the pirate cruise when I make my initial ADR call, but I like that they might only accept ressies at the 90 day mark for the special events - keeps it fair for everyone!

I had no trouble making 90+10 reservations for my split stay- 1st 8 nights on package, last 2 nights room-only. CM only asked for 1 reservation # & i gave 1st reservation #. I was not able to make ressies for Wonderland Tea Party or Adventures in Cooking w/ the 90+10. I had to call back at 90days for those. Good luck!!

the children's cruises are still done at the 90 day mark, not 90 + 10. Just an FYI the CM I had yestetrday insisted there was no such thing as the albatrosss cruise  . After being put on hold for 35 minutes I was transferred to recreation. The CM made the reservation with no problem.

I recently made ressies for my split stay in November. We're staying 5 days at OKW, 2 at POR, 4 at BCV. The CM let me make all ADRs for 10 days after our first check-in. I told her that some of our party was leaving, and we'd be at a different hotel on the 8th day, but she said it didn't matter. However, I couldn't make ressies for the last couple days at BCV, since that was more than 10 days out of my first check-in date. However, she told me that I could make ressies for 10 days after check-in at POR, even though some of those days are at a different hotel. Does that help or confuse things even more?

Just to update my situation ... I had no problem making ADRs yesterday for our entire trip. Have to call back at 90 days exactly to get pirate cruise and the WL sleigh ride, just as Dis'ers advised. Thanks!

90 + 10 is WDW's newish policy that you can make dining ADRs, at the 90 day mark of your on-site check-in, for up to 10 days of your vacation. Formerly, you had to call separately each day as you hit 90 days, if you wanted the high demand dining locales. HTH!
