I have reserved an eleven day Boardwalk Villas stay in November. My reservations are split into three separate reservations due to my usage of DVC points from different contracts.
Today was the 180+10 day for my first reservation, which is November 5-8. I was able to make reservations for the entire 180+10 day period beginning on November 5 even though that reservation ended on November 8. There was no issue at all -- the CM just said "make anything you want through November 15!"
I'm reporting this because many people have had different results with split stay reservation attempts. Some have only been able to make reservations during their first stay instead of the full 180+10. It was seamless for me, and it can be done. So if it doesn't work for you, call back.
And my family is thrilled -- we got BOG at the exact time we wanted (4:05), California Grill at the exact time we wanted (7:45 on a Holiday Wishes Fireworks Night), and three character breakfasts, all at the exact times we wanted. Couldn't be happier.
