Split Stay ADR Question

Hi,

I am a DVC member with 2 separate memberships. Usually when I book a trip, I Transfer the points from one membership to the other. However, when I booked my trip for 2015, they were able to do it without the transfer.

I have 2 reservations: 10/9 to 10/12 and 10/12 to 10/17. As of now, they're both at the same hotel (Wilderness Lodge), but I have a wait list for Boardwalk. It is possible that I'll be at Wilderness Lodge for one part of my vacation and Boardwalk for the other. My 180 Day mark is April 12th.

My question is, will the split stay affect my ability to make reservations? Will I be able to make ADRs for 10/16 (for example) when I call on April 12th? Would a split of the hotels affect this?

I called Disney, but couldn't get a straight answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

You'll likely need to call to make reservations for the second part of your trip. While you'll be allowed to make those reservations, the online system won't let you. In fact, the online system has been having trouble with the +10 for many DVC reservations, regardless of a split stay.
