Split Reservations

I am traveling to Disney as a party of 4. I’ve already booked 2 of my 4 for a meal. When I try to book the other 2 online it won’t let me because I already have a reservation booked for this time. Anyone else have this experience? If so, is there a “fix”. I’m just trying to book my proper total of 4 Reservations. Thanks!!

Disney doesn't allow you to have 2 reservations at the same time. You can either cancel your party of 2 and re-book as 4 or call in to have them do it for you, especially if it's for a popular restaurant that could be picked up by someone else when you cancel. Are you able to make a reservation for 4? if it allows you to do that, it will ask if you want to keep the existing reservation or cancel it.

The trick is to make the first reservation using a different person and phone number. If you book the first one under your name and number it won't let you book a second. I would call and see if they can help you.

Yes, we are a party of 6 and i'm having a hard time getting reservations. i will get, say, Tusker House for 4 at 2:35, so I put me, DH and 2 DGDs on the reservation, log out, log into my son's account and pick up a party for 2 at 2:45. The CM said they may seat us together. Reservations have been hard to come by. Sometimes I book 4 under my name, then have to get 4 under my son's name, but I go in and modify his party from 4 to 2.

When I can't get the whole party on 1 ADR - I make one ADR and I make the other ADR on my DHs account. We have separate MDE accounts and we use the different accounts to make the ADRs. Try that.
