dh is voting for Kerry he finally said it last night.. myself Bush.
I respect his vote .. but he is still wrong

My stepdad's voting Kerry. My mom Bush. I support Bush, but am not quite old enough to vote yet . But I know the feeling. We've had some really ugly arguments around here, because our political views were made public awhile ago. Frankly I'm looking forward to this being over.

Fortunately, DH and I are on the same page this year. My dad used to joke though, that when he and his wife went to vote, their votes cancelled each others out. LOL

My Dh and I cancel each other out. My Dh's family and my family, just about the same size, cancel each other out. We joke how we should all just rent one giant bus with each other's choice on a side. My Dh and I agree to disagree. I still love and respect his opnions just as he does mine.

No matter what the outcome, we all our going to have to make peach with the other one and try to make this country better together.

Fortunately dh and I are on the same page, but I feel so disappointed that my Mom does not have the same views as I do. I don't get it, she raised me, she instilled in me the values that I feel I'm aligning my vote with, and yet we completely disagree on all of the issues? I feel as if I'm losing respect for her and that's unfair, and I'm too old for this to bother me as much as it is, so I need to get over it, LOL....can't wait until this is over!!!

My father and my late mother always cancelled out each other's votes. The sweetest thing my dad ever did was to volunteer not to vote when she was terminally ill so she could stay home.
