Split Dining Plan and Switching Resorts

Two Questions

1) We are planning to do the Deluxe Dining Plan but only on certain days of our stay. Will we receive new resort mugs each day we start a new DDP?

2) We will be switching resorts from Boardwalk to AKL a few days into our stay since we will not have a car what is the process for this and getting our luggage transferred- and ourselves transferred?

Yes, you will get mugs for each new DDP. I've had it happen twice. The first time, I had a split stay of two days in a 1BR at VWL, one day in a studio at Jambo House, and a 2BR, two-day stay at Kidani. Yep, wound up with three mugs. lol As for switching resorts, call the desk at Boardwalk to verify, but the day you check out, they should offer to hold your bags and deliver them to AKL. They should even be able to give you a rough estimate of the time the delivery will take place. You will have to check in at AKL, naturally, so I would check on your luggage when doing so to ensure they know your bags are coming or to see if they've been delivered already. I had bags transferred from VWL to Jambo, then from Jambo to Kidani without incident other than them running a little behind on the latter transfer. Once we queried them, however, they dispatched a van immediately to go pick them up. Good luck and have fun!
