Splendid China?

Has anybody been lately? I know it's still open but heard it was on its last leg even two years ago. I would really love to go next year (if it's still operating).

It's definitely still there and under new management (and supposedly recovering) although I've never been.

MY DH didn't like it at all. But...I really enjoyed this park! However, I'd never recommend it for kids...especially after WDW! There's much history to learn, done in a "splendid" way. But, although I liked the park and the idea behind it, we found it to be very weather worn. We were practically the only ones there the day we went (had it's merits, but it felt strange not to see anyone else when we were touring). It could really use that new management...especially some that are willing to sink in a few $ for refurbishment!

Thanks for the replies...maybe we can do this the days before we hit the parks and dd can credit for writing a report or something.
Since I'm taking her out of school for a week.

We did it 2 years ago and hated it. It was run down and the pathways were overgrown. Has it got better ?
