This is probably not the right thread but not sure where to ask . Can you still get ziplock bags for your phone on splash mountain?

I just put everyone's phones in the inner pocket of my cross-body bag. Never been a problem.

I always have a small backpack and the phones go inside that. Always stayed dry.

I just found one from an old trip folded up in pocket of a backpack. Ah the memories.

Not since 2019 I think!
Those were so great! Not really needed - put the phone in your pocket...
Unless your boat suddenly sinks - unlikely - no real need for the zip lock on SM.

But they were great!!

Agree! We had a couple that we didn’t use for phones and I ended up using for my daughter’s lunch- the splash mountain design on it was too cute. Wish they’d bring them back

They won’t because they’ve decided they need to redo the ride, so all the Splash Mountain merch/accessories are gone. I wanted to find a Brer Bear stuffy for my 5 year old, who fell in love with him over this last trip, but of course they have nothing.

It’s really awful, and I say that as someone who loves that Disney is becoming more inclusive. This is just unnecessary. If you didn’t know the history of the animals, you’d have no idea where they came from. The New Orleans theme doesn’t fit into Frontierland. There aren’t mountains in New Orleans. None of it makes sense, and the idea of going to Magic Kingdom and not seeing those animals or singing Zipadee Do Dah with my family while we’re all wet and laughing is just depressing.

At first I thought maybe Disney would just forget about it, but I saw some more recent articles that confirmed it. I am someone who gives Disney a lot of leeway, but I am downright devastated by this.

I'm not aware of any specific "ziplock bags for your phone" that are used on Splash Mountain, a popular water ride at Disney theme parks. However, most theme parks have restrictions on what you can bring on the rides, and many water-based attractions do not allow loose items such as phones. To ensure the safety of guests, it's recommended to secure all personal items, including phones, in a locker or leave them with a non-rider before getting on the ride. If you are concerned about getting your phone wet, you can consider purchasing a waterproof phone case.
