Splash Mountain vs. Journey to Atlantis (sea world)

DD 6 is no dare devil when it comes to rides and she is going back and forth on Splash Mountain. She rode Journey to Atlantis at Sea World and loved it so I wonder drop wise how does it compare, before I encourage her one way or the other?

i think it was smaller but it was kinda bad for one of my sisters after the splash (she was at the back) she got soaked and her autograph book got ruined

but the theme was kinda confusing for me
i liked the ending part because it was like a roller coaster type thing

At Journey to Atlantis, the themeing is vague at best. The themeing at Splash Mountain is tremendous. I thought the drops themselves were comparable. Journey to Atlantis does have a faster ending, sort of a roller coaster on a flume ride, but it is not too intense. It does make the end wetter. Splash Mountain is a much longer ride. As far as thrills are concerned, I don't see much difference.
