Splash Mountain on Extra Magic Hours morning

I know Splash isn't open for EMH, but what I'm wondering is - does being there for EMH give you any sort of advantage to getting on Splash right when the park opens at 9? Like...is there a best place to stand while waiting? I guess my question is, what is the best strategy to ride Splash first during an EMH morning. I hope that makes sense and thanks for any and all help!

No material EMH advantage, IMO, since that side of the park isn't open. But Splash is among the least popular rope drop rides. No one seems to want to get wet first thing. The line will eventually start to build, but you have a pretty good window first thing to play with.

My suggestion would be to position yourself between PP and IASW around rope drop time and follow the crowd when they let you through, which will likely be merged with the real rope drop crowd coming from the hub at some point (exact procedures can vary day to day though). Many go to BTMR. You can normally get a couple of rides in with little effort/wait if so inclined.
