Splash Mountain....is it down?????

So I ws just wondering if you people knew if Splash Montain was down for maitenance or something like that.My pal was there recently and said it was down but anyways if it is please tell me and how long it will be down........thanks

Splash Mountain is closed until the 27th February. That's just an estimate, and might be closed longer (like when the TTA was supposed to be closed until 1st September last year, but lasted a lot longer -_-)

It always goes down in the winter for a rehab. All they really do is paint and just freshen up things for future guests. They also drain the water to get objects that have flown out of cars from guests and refill the mountain. Its usually always back up before the spring break crowds come in.

It was closed Tuesday when I went. They had all the water drained out as mentioned in an earlier post.

It's pretty much closed every year around this time..

Good memories of Splash Mountain...
December 09 me and my two sisters went on Splash Mountain 5x in a row.
It was really fun but on the first or second time we didn't get wet once but then on the third time, we were soaking! Like we just come out of a shower or swimming pool! By the end we were drenched! We were forced to go back to the hotel to change quickly and return to the park!

I hope it won't be down for long because its one of my favourite rides at WDW
